Naelah Alageel is an academic researcher at the Decision Support Center (DSC) for King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Boeing. Alageel holds a MS degree in Software Engineering. Alageel contributed to developing usability-engineering frameworks that incorporate usability testing tools (such as Morae and Eye Tracking) to assist professionals across disciplines in their assessment of bioinformatics tools and in their endeavor to identify usability problems and measure user satisfaction.
Alageel is currently working toward the development of decision support systems that provide intelligent decisions and recommendations based on advanced modeling, simulation, and big data analytical tools.
Alageel’s research interests are in Data Science, User Experience (UX), Tangible User Interfaces (TUI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
